Marian House Drop-In Center

The Marian House Drop-in Center is a facility created by a collaborative effort between NAMI of Greater Wheeling and Catholic Neighborhood Center to benefit people living with mental illness.  NAMI of Greater Wheeling also receives partial funding from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.

Marian House Drop-in Center is also known as the NAMI Drop-in Center and provides a gathering place with a wholesome atmosphere for fellowship and activities both fun and educational.  There is no cost for those living with mental illness to attend the Drop-in Center.

The Marian House Drop-in center works toward promoting inclusion and understanding among those with Mental Illness while creating a comfortable and inviting space to do so.  
The Marian House Drop-in Center provides a variety of activities including, various art projects and instruction, a life skills class, music therapy, lessons on geography and culture, a depression support group and other special activities.
At various times of the year, members of the Marian House will have the opportunity to participate in off-site activities such as, bowling outings, visiting the Stifle Arts Center, picnics, and movies.
